Edward M. Leaton, M.D.
Dr. Ed Leaton grew up in Connecticut and graduated from Johns Hopkins University with honors in 1975. He received his medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago and trained in neurology at Albany Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. After doing a year of radiology and neuro-radiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital, he then completed a fellowship in EEG, Evoked Potentials and Epilepsy at the University of Virginia in 1985. He was in practice in Schenectady, New York, for about three years and has been in practice in Central Virginia since 1988. Dr. Leaton has been named as a "Top Doc" by Richmond Magazine, and a "Top Med" in 2020 by Style Magazine. He is married and has two sons and a daughter.
Since 2005, Dr. Leaton and his family have been interested in supporting orphans in Uganda. |
